This latest entry will describe Phil Ivey, a poker pro that makes a handsome living via Full Tilt, one of today’s top Texas Holdem sites. Known as the “Tiger Woods of Poker”, he is well respected amongst amateurs and professionals alike. He supports a Full Tilt Poker download because he is part of the Full Tilt team, and I imagine you’ve probably seen his face in a few TV commercials in recent years.
An additional reason Ivey would probably want you to sit at tables in online casinos for USA players is so that he can make some money off you at the tables. He decided to keep it simple and go as “Phil Ivey”, and he usually plays No Limit and Limit Holdem as well as Omaha high stake cash games. Saying that he’s done well on money poker sites would be a massive understatement. In the last 3 years, his profit exceeds $15 million.
Ivey has done very well in the live poker scene as well, a big reason why he is so respected in the poker world. You’ll find him in the number one spot on the all-time tournament money winners list, and he’s won an impressive 7 bracelets in the World Series of Poker. If you total up his live MTT poker winnings, it is over $12 million. When it comes to cash games, he is usually found sitting in the Big Game. The Big Game is a $4,000/$8,000 mixed game hosted by the Bellagio, one of the most popular US poker rooms in Vegas.
It hasn’t been documented whether Ivey is into flash compatible casinos, but he’s been known to play with the dice in brick and mortar casinos. He’s rumored to have lost as much as $2 million playing craps in a single night! It’s probably safe to say that Ivey’s bank account can handle the loss, however. And I have to admit that while I cringe at the thought of losing millions playing craps, the gambling streak in Ivey makes him just that much more interesting. There are a large number of casinos for US players, so you could always try some craps yourself. Perhaps you can catch Ivey at a craps table in Vegas this month!
